Five Nights At Freddy’s 4 is the latest FNAF version that is numbered. Initially, Scott Cawthon may have decided to put an end to the franchise by naming the game Five Night at Freddy’s: The final chapter, but he didn’t do it. Cawthon released the FNAF 4 for different platforms from July to August 2015.
The FNAF 4 event takes place at the main character’s house. The player character is possessed with the attack from the terrifying imagined animatronic characters from the three previous games. You must learn to properly use the flashlight and door to protect the character.
In this edition, the plush bear on the bed will be your guide to survive at night. Moreover, you need to complete some minigames to know the story behind the game.
In Five Nights at Freddy’s 4, you will have a limitless-battery flashlight to lighten the dark space and shoo away the evil animatronics. Besides, you no longer have the camera system like the previous three parts. This is a considerable modification to the fourth edition’s gameplay.
The only way for you to know what is going on is to check the doors and listen to the creepy sounds. Remember to shut the doors whenever you hear any strange sounds.
You can move the computer mouse around to see different room corners. For instance, move the pointer to the left to make the left corner visible and vice versa; click on the door to approach it; move the pointer downwards to the screen bottom to look back (look at the bed); move the pointer upwards to get the default vision.
As mentioned above, the only way for you to spot the coming of animatronics is via the creepy and odd sounds. For this reason, you must be sure that you can keep track of the game audio properly.
Hardly do the animatronics kill you on the first night, so you must get used to the sounds created when they move to your place. Most crucially, you must realize the sound when the enemies are standing behind the doors waiting for you to open.
Whenever you hear an odd sound, shut the doors. Some players are curious about what is in the hall’s darkness when they open the door, and this habit will lead to a “Game Over” because the animatronics will promptly jump at you. You should spend a few seconds listening to the noise.
Don’t forget to check your back and lighten the bed with a flashlight. Freddies will likely stay there and be willing to take "your life".
The closet is the favorite place of Foxy, a wicked animatronic. You must be careful when hearing the cracking sound from the closet door or spotting it moving. These phenomena may be the signals for the coming of Foxy.
